14 Drunk Drivers Arrested Over Weekend of Dec. 3-4 by Milwaukee Sheriff's Deputies
DUI-7th among six repeat offenders - 1653 Repeat Offenders Since January 2010

MILWAUKEE -- Sheriff David A. Clarke Jr. has ordered a continued aggressive weekend Driving Under the Influence (DUI) initiative to rid the Milwaukee County freeway system of drunken drivers.
This weekend’s Operation Drive Sober initiative, from Friday at 4:00 p.m.through Sunday at 6:00 a.m., resulted in the arrest of twelve drunken drivers. The average PBT result was .13.

Sunday morning at 3:45 a.m., a deputy spotted a disabled vehicle out of traffic on I-43 southbound at S. 6th Street. The vehicle was running, and the driver was slumped over in the driver’s seat. Samuel L. Perkins, age 49, of Brown Deer, was uncooperative during field sobriety tests and said, “I had a lot to drink.”
Perkins was arrested for DUI-7th offense, a Class G felony, punishable by up to 10 years in prison, if convicted. His prior convictions occurred in July 1996, October 1996, April 1999, May 1999, June 1999 and October 2011.

DUI-3rd with minor children in vehicle:
On Saturday, at about 3:00 a.m., deputies responded to a two-car injury crash on I-94 southbound at W. College Avenue. Kyle C. Rannow, age 35, of Racine, said another vehicle had cut him off, causing him to strike that vehicle, which hit the wall and landed on its side. Rannow admitted to smoking marijuana and taking pain medication before driving. Of the four passengers in his vehicle, there were three children ages two month, four, and eight.
Four other repeat offenders, all of Milwaukee, were also arrested:
- Carl Walker, age 39, for DUI-4th offense
- Mercedes Tolbert, age 29, for DUI-2nd
- Jessica Wegner, age 39, for DUI-2nd
- Luis Benavides, age 32, for DUI-2nd.
First-time offenders, all of Milwaukee, taken into custody were:
- Anastacio Tzintzun, age 47
- Jorge Sanchez, age 31
- Hanna Hamilton, age 20
- Tyler Spatafora, age 25
- Travis Colbourn, age 32
- Michael Grimes, age 25
- Sarina Garcia, age 30
- Skyler Wurzel, age 18.
