18-Year-Old Charged In Fatal Stabbing Of Grafton Man: Report
Police in Grafton say an 18-year-old California woman is responsible for stabbing a 34-year-old man inside his own home.

OZAUKEE COUNTY, WI — Authorities in Grafton say an 18-year-old woman from California is the person responsible for fatally stabbing a Grafton man in his own home.
According to a CBS 58 report, authorities say 18-year-old Crystal Gutierrez fatally stabbed 34-year-old Brent Fitch early Friday morning.
A criminal complaint filed in Ozaukee County says that a local dispatcher received a call from a woman in California early Friday morning recommending that police respond to Fitch's home due to an emergency.

When officers arrived, police said they found Gutierrez covered in blood and screaming for help, and Fitch deceased in his home near Ninth and Spring Streets, the criminal complaint stated.
According to the criminal complaint, officers determined that Gutierrez stabbed Fitch with scissors and a knife in the early-morning altercation. Investigators say that Gutierrez had traveled to Wisconsin to meet with Fitch, though the nature of the relationship was unclear upon charging.

Court records indicate that Gutierrez has been charged with first-degree intentional homicide and is due next in court for her initial appearance at 10 a.m. on May 10. First-degree intentional homicide carries a maximum penalty of life in prison without possibility of parole.
She's being held in the Ozaukee County Jail on a$1000,000 cash bond.
