On Monday, June 8, 2020, the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office issued charges against Aaron J. Lumby and Freya U. Nicneven for their involvement in the hit and run accident involving a citizen and two MPD officers during the civil unrest that occurred on Thursday, June 4, 2020, approximately 3:00 a.m., on the 300 block of W. Locust Street.
Aaron J. Lumby was charged with one count of hit and run causing great bodily harm, two counts of hit and run causing injury and one count of second degree recklessly endangering safety. If found guilty, Lumby could face up to 26 years, 6 months in prison and fined up to $95,000.

Freya U. Nicneven was charged with one count of harboring or aiding a felon. If found guilty, Nicneven could face up to 3 years, 6 months in prison and fined up to $10,000.
