2017 Milwaukee Holiday Parade: Lineup, Parking, Schedule and More

MILWAUKEE, WI — The Milwaukee Holiday parade made its debut in 1927, and remains a continuing holiday tradition. This year, the parade features approximately 100 entries, including marching bands, floats, giant helium balloons, local celebrities, costumed characters, live animals, specialty vehicles and Santa Claus—parade attendance is free and all are welcome

Parade Route

The parade route begins at 9:30am on Kilbourn Avenue and Astor Street, continues west to Old World 3rd Street where it turns left and continues south to Wisconsin Avenue. The parade officially ends in front of The Shops of Grand Avenue on the corner of Old World 3rd Street and Wisconsin Avenue.

On Television

Even if you can't make it downtown for the parade, Fox6 will be featuring live parade coverage between 9:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. Fox 6 will re-broadcast the parade on Christmas morning.

Parking

According to event organizers, Interstate Parking is offering a flat rate of $3.00 on Parade Day between 6:00 a.m. and noon at the following locations:

• 615 N 2nd Street (at The Shops of Grand Avenue on 2nd Street near W. Michigan Street)
• 615 N 4th Street (on 4th Street near W. Michigan Street)
