5-Year-Old Girl Shot In Milwaukee; Man Arrested: Police

MILWAUKEE — A 5-year-old girl was shot by a man Monday in Milwaukee, according to police.

The incident occurred shortly before noon in the 9000 block of North 85th Street, police said. The child, a Milwaukee resident, was brought to a hospital for treatment of an injury that was not life-threatening, according to police.

A 36-year-old Milwaukee man was taken into custody, police said, with charges to be reviewed by the district attorney’s office.
