2 Missing Girls, Mom Found Dead After Amber Alert: Report
A mother and two daughters who were the subjects of an Amber Alert were found dead Sunday afternoon, according to the Milwaukee Journal.
MILWAUKEE, WI — The Milwaukee Police Department confirmed that the bodies of Amarah Banks and her two young daughters were found dead Sunday afternoon, according to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.
Amarah J. Banks, 26; Zaniya R. Ivery, 5; and Camaria Banks, 4, who were the subjects of an Amber Alert issued on Saturday were discovered in a garage in the 4700 block of West Burleigh Street, said Milwaukee Police Chief Alfonso Morales in a news conference, according to multiple local reports.
Arzel J. Ivery, 25, was arrested in connection with the case and a felony aggravated battery charge, according to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. Ivery was taken into custody in Memphis, Tennessee, on Sunday.

Authorities had canceled an Amber Alert issued for the two children of Amarah Banks earlier on Sunday.
The girls and their mom were last seen around 1 a.m. on Feb. 8 at a residence on the 5900 block of North Sherman Boulevard. According to police, Ivery was also seen at the location.
