MILWAUKEE, WI — The wait is over. For the first time in 44 years, the Milwaukee Brewers will play in a World Series game Friday night when they host the Tampa Bay Rays in Game 1 at American Family Field.
Here's everything you need to know to watch or listen.

Where: American Family Field, Milwaukee.
TV: Fox.
In Spanish, the game airs on Fox Deportes and Univision.
Streaming: Fox One, along with live TV services such as Fubo and DirecTV. MLB.TV subscribers can also watch the Fox broadcast if they sign in through a pay TV provider that carries Fox.
Radio: The Brewers Radio Network, including flagship WTMJ (620 AM), will carry the local call. ESPN Radio has the national broadcast, and TUDN Radio has the game in Spanish. Joe Davis and John Smoltz will call the game for Fox. On Brewers radio, Jeff Levering, whose pennant-clinching call paid tribute to the late Bob Uecker, will be back in the booth with Lane Grindle.
On the mound, the Brewers are sending ace Jacob Misiorowski, the National League Cy Young favorite, who went 16-5 with a 1.80 ERA during the regular season.
The Rays went a different direction. Manager Kevin Cash announced Thursday that right-hander Nick Martinez, not staff ace Drew Rasmussen, will start Game 1, saying the club wanted to give Rasmussen an extra day of rest after a heavy postseason workload. Martinez, 36, went 15-6 with a 3.16 ERA this season and held the Brewers to two runs over six innings at American Family Field in March. Rasmussen is expected to start Game 2.
The Brewers are in the World Series for the first time since 1982, when they lost to the St. Louis Cardinals in seven games. Milwaukee posted baseball's best record at 103-59, earning home-field advantage, then swept the Los Angeles Dodgers in the NLCS. The Rays went 98-64 and beat the Cleveland Guardians in six games for the American League pennant.
Neither franchise has won a World Series, so the series will crown a first-time champion.
Game 2 is Saturday at 7 p.m. Central in Milwaukee before the series shifts to Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Florida, for Games 3 through 5, Monday through Wednesday. If needed, Games 6 and 7 would be back in Milwaukee on Oct. 30 and 31.
Every game will air on Fox.
