MILWAUKEE, WI — A Wisconsin restaurant was featured on OpenTable's Top 100 Restaurants in America for 2026, according to the company's announcement on Wednesday.
This year's list spanned 21 states plus Washington, D.C., and was generated from over 11 million reviews as well as other dining metrics.
Nakama in Milwaukee, an omakase sushi restaurant, was the lone Badger State standout.
The state with the most restaurants featured was California, which had 19.
"Diners have no shortage of places they can turn to for dining inspiration, but none quite like our Top 100, which casts a wide net across the country and reflects the restaurants Americans are truly loving," OpenTable Chief Operating Officer Amy Wei said in a news release.
To determine the list, OpenTable relied on reviews and metrics from Sept. 1, 2025, to Aug. 31, 2026, including diner ratings, percentage of five-star reviews, percentage of reservations made in advance, and more.
