Milwaukee Neighborhood Standoff Ends In Arrest: Cops
Police are reporting that the suspect has been arrested and that the Tactical Enforcement Unit is on-scene.

MILWAUKEE, WI -- Police in Milwaukee say that an apartment was evacuated early Tuesday and an area school was put on lock-down after an apparent threat on Milwaukee's Near North Side.
Later Tuesday morning, police say the man was taken into custody without shots being fired. Reports indicate that the man surrendered after more than three hours of negotiation in the standoff.
According to police accounts, Milwaukee Police officers were called to the 2400 block of N. Murray Ave. just after 6 a.m. Tuesday on a report of an armed man who was threatening to shoot at responding officers and take his own life.

According to a WISN 12 report, 20 units of the apartment building were evacuated and Catholic East Elementary School were evacuated earlier.
The neighborhood is located about a block north of North Ave. and the Oriental Theatre.
