Arrest Made In Shots Fired At Milwaukee Police Department Officers Incident
On May 4, 2020, at approximately 5:10 p.m., two MPD officers were conducting an investigation on the 1300 block of S. 34th Street.

On Monday, May 4, 2020, at approximately 5:10 p.m., two MPD officers were conducting an investigation on the 1300 block of S. 34th Street, when they encountered a subject that was armed with a pistol. Officers attempted to stop the subject. The subject fled and a foot pursuit ensued. As officers chased, the subject fired his gun at officers. No officers were injured and officers did not return fire. This is an ongoing investigation.

Milwaukee Police arrested a 36-year-old man in connection to this incident. Criminal charges will be referred to the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office in the upcoming days.
