Authorities Identify Woman, 61, Who Died In Sunday Crash

Authorities say the 61-year-old Grafton woman was a passenger on a motorcycle when it was struck by a car.

OZAUKEE COUNTY, WI — Authorities say a 61-year-old Grafton woman is dead after the motorcycle she was a passenger on collided with a Ford Fusion on Highway 33 Sunday night.

On Monday night, authorities identified the driver of the Ford Fusion as Raymond Klumb, 75, from Mequon. The motorcycle driver has been identified as Gregory Prellwitz, 57, of Grafton.

Authorities say Prellwitz suffered serious injuries and was transported to Froedtert Hospital. Authorities also say the passenger of his motorcycle, Lorrie Shirley, 61, of Grafton, died from injuries she suffered during the crash.

According to Ozaukee County Sheriff' officials, first responders were called out to a crash involving the Ford Fusion and the motorcycle at the intersection of Highway 33 and Highway I at about 5:30 p.m. Sunday.

Authorities said the driver of the Ford Fusion, Klumb, was heading south on Highway I. After he entered the intersection, traffic investigators say he struck a 2000 Honda Goldwing motorcycle that was heading east on Highway 33.

Saukville Police and Fire Departments, Mequon Police Department, and Cedarburg Emergency Government assisted with the crash.
