A Department of Public Works sanitation worker discovered a body in a garbage cart.

MILWAUKEE, WI— A sanitation worker found a body Friday morning, according to Milwaukee Police. The PD says they are now investigating the circumstances.

A Department of Public Works sanitation worker discovered the body in a garbage cart Friday, October 9, at approximately 9:42 a.m., on the 2800 block of N. 23rd Street.

The decedent appears to be a man in his 20’s.
