Xavier Wulf is a man possessed. When he has a dream or sets a goal, it consumes him. When he hears a beat, it takes over his body, commanding him to speak, shout, and let out the rage. As an artist and a person, he is quite literally driven by something beyond himself — maybe that’s a little on the nose for a rapper known for his deep love of street racing and drifting, but it’s also an apt description for his process. When Xavier clicks with an instrumental, he closes his eyes, puts the lyrical pedal to the floor, and lets it all out, following whatever road feels right.
Xavier might be one of rap’s reigning underground kings, but he readily admits that he didn’t get to where he is alone. Xavier lets the music come to him, opening up his inbox to beat submissions from fans, a way of giving back to his supporters while also finding new styles and undiscovered voices. “When I was growing up listening to Three 6 Mafia and Memphis music, I wanted to get my own piece of that sound. Spend an evening enjoying vibrant live music at Live At The Ivy on Wednesday, September 23! The evening kicks off with CIVIC MUSIC MKE’s All-Star Jazz Ensemble, followed by Milwaukee-based Latin ensemble Los Mitoteros, bringing cumbia, salsa, merengue, boleros, bossa nova, Latin jazz, and Mexican Regional music to the stage. An all-Mexican fare will be available from The Gathering, a Milwaukee nonprofit dedicated to providing nutritious meals to people experiencing food insecurity. Enjoy great food, a laid-back atmosphere, and an evening celebrating local musicians and the Milwaukee arts community. Matt McCusker is a comedian, novelist, and actor from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Affectionately known as “The Shaman,” Matt is the co-host of the industry-changing cult comedy show Matt and Shane's Secret Podcast with Shane Gillis. The show is the number one Patreon podcast in the world, dominating the charts with over 5.5 million downloads each month and consistently ranking in the Top 15 on Spotify’s Comedy Charts. The duo recently announced a major partnership with Spotify to bring video episodes to the platform, marking an exciting new chapter for their devoted audience.
McCusker’s highly-anticipated debut Netflix special, A Humble Offering, premiered in October 2025, quickly hitting the Top 10. In it, the comedian discussed the homelessness crisis, opined on race relations, and supplied best practices for seducing his wife.
