Car Trapped Under Semi On I-43: Reports

MILWAUKEE COUNTY, WI — A crash involving a car and a semitrailer caused closures Thursday on Interstate 43, according to reports.

The incident occurred 10 a.m. in the area of National Avenue, according to the Wisconsin Department of Transportation. WISN 12 News reported that a car with popped tired was trapped under a semi on the front driver’s side and that paramedics had responded to the scene.

Three left lanes were affected on the interstate but all had reopened by 11:30 a.m., according to the department.
