Charity About To Send 10,000th Care Package For Troops

Support The Troops, a Wisconsin woman's charity organization, is closing in on sending its 10,000th care package to U.S. servicemen and women deployed overseas.

According to a WTMJ report, LeAnn Boudwine started Support the Troops 11 years ago to send care packages to troops serving overseas when she learned some of them were not receiving any gifts over the holidays.

"Why do we do this? Because of the letters we get," Boudwine said to WTMJ onlinesaid to WTMJ online. "Soldiers tell us how good it makes them feel to know that we are thinking about them. I get teary just thinking about it."
