Cold, Wet Start To The Week Before Warmup: WI Weather

MILWAUKEE — The Milwaukee Metro Area will see plenty of rain to start the week, with some parts of southeastern Wisconsin seeing a chance for snow. But things will warm up gradually, with a high of 61 on Sunday.

"Cool and windy conditions are expected for the region today," the National Weather Service said.

"A mix of rain and snow is expected over east central and southeastern Wisconsin, with mainly dry conditions over south central Wisconsin. Northwest winds will gust as high as 40 MPH at times."

Monday: Rain. High near 44. Windy, with a northwest wind 20 to 25 mph, with gusts as high as 40 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New precipitation amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch possible.

Monday Night: Rain likely before midnight, then a chance of sprinkles between midnight and 1am. Cloudy, with a low around 38. Windy, with a northwest wind 20 to 25 mph, with gusts as high as 40 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.

Tuesday: Cloudy, with a high near 46. Breezy, with a northwest wind 15 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph.

Tuesday Night: Cloudy, then gradually becoming partly cloudy, with a low around 35. North wind 10 to 15 mph.

Wednesday: Partly sunny, with a high near 53. Northwest wind around 10 mph becoming northeast in the afternoon.
