Deadly Night: 4 Dead in 3 Shootings; 2 Children Found Hiding at Double Homicide Scene

Four people are dead in Milwaukee after three overnight shootings. 2 children were found hiding in room where double-homicide took place.

MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee Police are investigating a double homicide that happened around 1:30 a.m. on December 8 in the 10700 block of W. Appleton Avenue.

Officers arrived to find a 38-year-old Milwaukee woman and a 36-year-old Milwaukee man both suffering from gunshot wounds. Despite life saving efforts both victims died at the scene.

According to a report from FOX 6 this morning, Police also found two children in the room, hiding. One is a teen -- the other is 11-years-old. They were not injured, and are not considered suspects.

Police say this incident is being investigated as a homicide -- not a murder-suicide. MPD continues to search for suspect(s) and seek a motive.

According to a report by the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, about two hours later, police received another call of a double shooting in the 6700 block of N. 52nd St. A 34-year-old man was found wounded and died at the scene, police said. A 32-year-old woman also was shot and was taken to a hospital where she is expected to survive her injuries, according to police.

67-Year-Old Shot in Car

Milwaukee Police are investigating a homicide that happened around 10:15 p.m. on December 7 in the 3600 block of W. Thurston Avenue. Officers responded to a report of a car accident and upon arrival it was discovered that a 67-year-old male in the vehicle was suffering from a gunshot wound.

Officers attempted CPR which was taken over by the Milwaukee Fire Department.
Despite the life-saving efforts the victim died from his injuries. Circumstances surrounding the shooting are still being investigated.
