Here are a few ways to volunteer and make a difference in our community.

Volunteer Milwaukee, a service of the Nonprofit Center of Milwaukee features both one-time and ongoing volunteer opportunities in our community. Here are a few ways to help.
- Wheelchair In-House Escort - Escort elderly residents in wheelchairs to in-house therapy, beauty shop or chapel weekdays and Sundays at VMP Manor Park. Contact bonnie.zabkowicz@vmp.org or 414-607-4276.
- Experienced Grant Writer - Grant writer needed for Milwaukee Artist Resource Network; must have at least 2 years’ experience and be open to flexible schedule. Contact michele@artsinmilwaukee.org or 414-604-6276.
- Companionship Volunteer - Provide companionship, comfort and support to a hospice patient on a regular basis; flexible schedule. Contact Hometown Hospice & Homecare at rmiers@hometownhh.com or 262-893-1472.
- Weekly Program Support - Serve as our greeter for attendees and parents at center-based Wednesday evening programs for youth. Contact Lake Valley Camp at apanciera@lakevalleycamp.org or 414-431-4508.
- Holiday Folk Fair International - Greet guests, sell food, monitor exhibits or assist at the walk during the Holiday Folk Fair, November 17-19. Contact International Institute of Wisconsin at volunteers@folkfair.org or 414-225-6220.
- WIAA BOYS STATE SOCCER CHAMPIONSHIPS - Keep score or assist athletes at the weekend Special Olympics Bowling Competitions in Wauwatosa Sunday, November 19. Sign up here. Contact jblank@specialolympicswisconsin.org.
