Here are a few ways to volunteer and make a difference in our community.

Volunteer Milwaukee, a service of the Nonprofit Center of Milwaukee features both one-time and ongoing volunteer opportunities in our community. Here are a few ways to help.
- Tutor for Adult Education Students - Provide one-on-one GED tutoring to adults Monday-Wednesday, mornings or afternoons. Contact Next Door at mstevens@nextdoormke.org or 414-999-2529.
- Certified Nursing Assistants needed for older adults with stroke, arthritis, Parkinson's disease, dementia as well as developmental disabilities at Catholic Charities Adult Day Center. Contact jbrandt@ccmke.org or 414-769-3414.
- Friendly Visitor Program - Visit with and provide companionship to hospice patients on a regular basis in Mequon/Port Washington community. Contact Serenity Hospice Care at awissinger@preceptorhc.com or 262-735-4297.
- JA Finance Park and BizTown- Guide 5th grade students in financial literacy at Junior Achievement's BizTown weekdays in January and February. Contact smith28@milwaukee.k12.wi.us or 414-475-8090.
- Prepare and Bring a Meal - Prepare a meal for 30-35 guests at home and bring it to Hebron House of Hospitality shelter in Waukesha. Contact mteronde@hebronhouse.org or 262-549-8720.
- Greater Milwaukee Auto Show - Staff booth, collect donations, and assist with mini-golf course for Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin at Greater Milwaukee Auto Show February 24-March 4. Contact dberka@feedingamericawi.org or 414-831-6326.
