Here are a few ways to volunteer and make a difference in our community.

Volunteer Milwaukee, a service of the Nonprofit Center of Milwaukee features both one-time and ongoing volunteer opportunities in our community. Here are a few ways to help.
- Celebrate Dr. Seuss’s Birthday Month - Assist with literacy activities, arts and crafts & fun with youth to celebrate Dr. Seuss’s birthday at an area Boys &Girls Club; weekdays in March. Contact DannyM@boysgirlsclubs.org or 414-267-8111.
- Court Appointed Special Advocate - Become a voice for children in foster care as a Court Appointed Special Advocate. Evening and Saturday training begins February 28. Contact Kids Matter at lance.jones@kidsmatterinc.org or 414-344-1220.
- Receptionist/Office Assistant - Answer telephones and schedule appointments Tuesdays or Wednesdays; must have computer experience. Contact Holton Street Clinic at jims@holtonstreetclinic.orgor 414-264-8800.
- Auxiliary Member- Make handmade items and host events for residents, families and public for Lutheran Home in order to raise funds; meet 2nd Tuesday of each month. Contact michelle.mittelsteadt@thelutheranhome.org or 414-258-6171.
- Delivery Day - Sort food and restock shelves at Hope House food Pantry Thursday, March 8 and on food delivery days each month. Contact Friedens Community Ministries at volunteer@friedenspantry.orgor 414-289-6030.
- WSMA Solo & Ensemble Music Festival - Check-in students for performances, monitor noise and assist judges with scoring forms for the WSMA Solo & Ensemble Music Festival Saturday, March 3. Contact MPS at smith28@milwaukee.k12.wi.us or 414-773-9823.
