Do good. Feel great. Volunteer!

Here are a few ways to volunteer and make a difference in our community.

Volunteer Milwaukee, a service of the Nonprofit Center of Milwaukee features both one-time and ongoing volunteer opportunities in our community. Here are a few ways to help.

  • Robotics Week - Run interactive robotic activities & demos at Discovery World’s March 30-31; experience with robotics a plus but not required. Contact volunteer@discoveryworld.org or 414-765-1978.
  • Teach Teens How To Write Resumes - Teach teenagers how to create, build, and update their resumes Wed., March 28 at Washington Park branch of Milwaukee Public Library. Contact dmwrobl@milwaukee.gov or 414-286-3000 ext. 3077.
  • English Tutors for Refugees - Teach English to refugee adults and school-aged children for in-home tutoring program twice per week for 2-4 weeks; teaching or ESL experience a plus. Apply here. Contact Catholic Charities at or 414-769-3414.
  • Office Administrator - Answer phones, update donor spreadsheet, send out thank you letters and other clerical tasks weekdays for USO Wisconsin. Contact joshsova@usowisconsin.org or (414) 763-2214.
  • Food Pick-up/Delivery - Pick-up and deliver food to Project Concern food pantry Mon., Wed. and/or Fri. before 9am; must have own vehicle, valid driver's license and insurance. Contact pcstaff@hotmail.com or 414-744-0645.
  • Show your Green & Gold Pride - Help with set up, crowd support and activity stations for Green Bay Packers Tailgate Tour Fri., April 13 at UW Milwaukee Panther Arena. Contact Boys & Girls Club of Greater Milwaukee at DannyM@boysgirlsclubs.org or 414-267-8111.
