Do good. Feel great. Volunteer!

Here are a few ways to volunteer and make a difference in our community.

Volunteer Milwaukee, a service of the Nonprofit Center of Milwaukee features both one-time and ongoing volunteer opportunities in our community. Here are a few ways to help.

  • Donate painting, ceramic, framing and art studio supplies for Donna Lexa Arts Center which provides art programming for adults and teens with special needs. Contact nicole@donnalexa.org or 262-521-2292.
  • Tutor junior high students weekdays in subjects such as math, social studies, science or history for Milwaukee Academy of Science Junior Academy. Contact volunteercoordinator@mascience.org or 414 933 0302 ext. 1134.
  • Welcome and provide information to individuals as they sign in, sort mail and perform small janitorial duties weekdays and weekends. Contact Repairers of the Breach at centermanager@repairers.org or 414-342-9323.
  • Read, play music or a game and share stories and memories with hospice a patient and provide caregiver respite weekdays or weekends. Contact Allay Home and Hospice at pczarnik@allayhh.com or 262-317-5233.
  • Review evaluation forms and enter data from the Amazing Faiths Dinner Dialogue Program. Contact Interfaith Conference Of Greater Milwaukee at tomh@interfaithconference.org or 414-276-9050.
  • Unpack and sort clothing, check in shoppers and provide child care at Robyn's Nest Spring Clothing Giveaway; prep April 16-19 and event April 20. Contact Children's Hospital Of Wisconsin Community Services at LLongvelasco@chw.org or 414-231-4820.
