Do good. Feel great. Volunteer!

Here are a few ways to volunteer and make a difference in our community.

Volunteer Milwaukee, a service of the Nonprofit Center of Milwaukee features both one-time and ongoing volunteer opportunities in our community. Here are a few ways to help.

  • Welcome and assist patients and visitors at Aurora St. Luke’s South Shore, Good Hope, Menomonee Falls, Germantown, Edgerton or Layton Avenue Health Clinics; days, evenings or weekends. Complete an online application.
  • Visit, play games or take stroll around the nursing home/assisted-living facility with hospice patients in Milwaukee County. Contact Heartland Hospice at emilee.high@hcr-manorcare.com or (414) 944-2000.
  • Welcome guests, perform light housekeeping and do clerical tasks at Ronald McDonald House Charities, a home for families with children receiving medical treatment. Contact

  • Escort elderly residents in wheelchairs to in-house therapy, beauty shop or chapel weekdays and Sundays at VMP Manor Park. Contact bonnie.zabkowicz@vmp.org or (414) 607-4276.
  • Distribute posters and flyers to numerous neighborhoods in Milwaukee for the May All Stars StorySlam. Contact Ex Fabula at carolina@exfabula.com or (414) 530-3503.
