Do good. Feel great. Volunteer!

Here are a few ways to volunteer and make a difference in our community.

Volunteer Milwaukee, a service of the Nonprofit Center of Milwaukee features both one-time and ongoing volunteer opportunities in our community. Here are a few ways to help.

  • Help adults with beginner to intermediate level computer tasks weekdays and Saturday afternoons; choose from various Milwaukee Public Library locations. Contact DMWrobl@milwaukee.gov or 414-286-3077.
  • Assist with the physical and counseling needs of homeless and runaway youth ages 11-17; 4 hour a week commitment for at least 6 months. Apply here or contact Pathfinders at sraines@pathfindersmke.org or 414-988-6870.
  • Greet guests and help transport residents/guests to appointments on St. Camillus campus; weekdays and Sundays. Contact kfiedler@stcam.com or 414-259-6346.
  • Clean up Pulaski Park, the Kinnickinnic River and neighborhood Saturday, April 21. Contact Sixteenth Street Community Health Centers at stephanie.mercado@sschc.org or 414-897-5596.
  • Help out with trash clean up and remove invasive species at Hawthorn Glen Park Saturday, April 21. Contact Milwaukee Recreation Department at Nicole@MilwaukeeRecreation.net or 414-647-6043.
  • Plant a tree in your neighborhood or local park Friday, April 27. Contact Keep Greater Milwaukee Beautiful with a plan of location and number of trees. Contact jwilson@kgmb.org or 414-272-5462.
