Do good. Feel great. Volunteer!

Here are a few ways to volunteer and make a difference in our community.

Volunteer Milwaukee, a service of the Nonprofit Center of Milwaukee features both one-time and ongoing volunteer opportunities in our community. Here are a few ways to help.

  • Assist seniors with shopping and household tasks, escort to store or appointments and provide much needed friendship; must be 55 or older to volunteer for this program. Contact Social Development Commission at edunbar@cr-sdc.org or 414-906-2700.
  • Enter data, format reports and charts, prepare committee meeting packets, search Internet and databases, etc. weekdays; must have office experience. Contact Curative Care at lmorowski@curative.org or 414-479-9297.
  • Monitor field sidelines, sell food and merchandise or assist with parking at soccer tournament May 4-6 and May 11-12. Contact Milwaukee Kickers Soccer Club at angieo@mksc.org or 414-358-2678.
  • Assist students off buses and in warm up/homerooms, monitor stage and help with art activities for MPS All City Arts Festival May 9-11. Contact smith28@milwaukee.k12.wi.us or 414-773-9823.
  • Register participants, sell and distribute bingo packets and sell bingo packets Friday, May 11 for NAMI Waukesha’s Blue Jean Bingo. Contact andrea@namiwaukesha.org or 262-409-2742.
  • Collect tickets and guide visitors at the Spaces & Traces tour of homes and buildings in Historic Walker’s Point Neighborhood, Saturday, May 12. Learn more and sign up here.
