Do good. Feel great. Volunteer!

Here are a few ways to volunteer and make a difference in our community.

Volunteer Milwaukee, a service of the Nonprofit Center of Milwaukee features both one-time and ongoing volunteer opportunities in our community. Here are a few ways to help.

  • Greet and direct audience members and escort students at Mad Hot Ballroom Dance Competition on May 19 at the BMO Harris Bradley Center. Contact Danceworks at mseer@danceworksmke.org or (414) 277-8480.
  • Pull garlic mustard weeds at a nearby Milwaukee County Park Saturday mornings May to June. Learn more and see Park People Spring Weed-Out schedule.
  • Lead art projects for families and students during MPS All-City Arts Festival on Summerfest Grounds May 9-11. Contact Artists Working in Education at tatiana@awe-inc.org or (414) 933-3877.
  • Manage the check-in table, welcome presenters and help to set up activities for Health and Wellness Fair on May 10. Contact Sojourner Family Peace Center at lilyg@familypeacecenter.org or (414) 810-1826.
  • Greet and register attendees and serve refreshments at Memory Café for those affected by dementia and Alzheimer's on May 15 at Milwaukee Public Library-Villard Square. Fill out an application.
  • Help with set-up, registration, auction and games at an event for La Causa Crisis Nursery & Respite Center on May 19 at the Harley-Davidson Museum. Contact bridgeth@lacausa.org or (414) 316-5503.
