Do good. Feel great. Volunteer!

Here are a few ways to volunteer and make a difference in our community.

Volunteer Milwaukee, a service of the Nonprofit Center of Milwaukee features both one-time and ongoing volunteer opportunities in our community. Here are a few ways to help.

  • Greet visitors and answer questions at the airport, prepare packets and convention bags and provide directional assistance at events for VISIT Milwaukee; mainly weekdays and weekends. Contact TSnell@milwaukee.org or 414-287-4243.
  • Help move clothing, personal items, children’s toys and kitchen items to apartments for clients of Meta House; use of your own vehicle preferred. Contact ljacobson@metahouse.org or 414-977-5823.
  • Prepare and serve breakfast to those who are hungry and homeless 7:00-10:00 a.m. weekdays; groups and individuals welcome. Contact The Gathering at angela@thegatheringwis.org or 414-272-4122.
  • File paperwork, make copies, collate educational materials and put together admission packets; Germantown location. Contact Serenity Hospice Care at awissinger@preceptorhc.com or 262-735-4297.
  • Help run the clock, provide security and assist at retail booth Sunday, May 20 at basketball tournament for Running Rebels Community Organization. Contact volunteer@runningrebels.org or 414-316-5222.
  • Answer questions and survey visitors and clean up garbage during the Downtown West Allis A La Carte event Sunday, June 3. Contact promotions@downtownwestallis.org or 414-774-2676.
