Do good. Feel great. Volunteer!

Here are a few ways to volunteer and make a difference in our community.

Volunteer Milwaukee, a service of the Nonprofit Center of Milwaukee features both one-time and ongoing volunteer opportunities in our community. Here are a few ways to help.

  • Become a voice for children in foster care as a Court Appointed Special Advocate. Evening and Saturday training begins July 11. Contact Kids Matter at lance.jones@kidsmatterinc.org or (414)-344-1220.
  • Groups are needed to donate and serve a meal for 50-70 people at Meta House on Monday nights for Celebrating Families program. Contact ljacobson@metahouse.org or (414)-977-5823.
  • Read books, assist with activities and serve lunch in child care program weekdays at St. Ann Center For Intergenerational Care-Bucyrus Campus. Contact myarn@stanncenter.org or (414)-210-2432.
  • Answer telephones and schedule appointments Tuesdays or Wednesdays; must have computer experience. Contact Holton Street Clinic at jims@holtonstreetclinic.org or (414)-264-8800.
  • Guide visitors through the newly renovated War Memorial Center, assist with school programs and provide tours for special events. Contact education@warmemorialcenter.org or (414)-273-5533.
