Do good. Feel great. Volunteer!

Here are a few ways to volunteer and make a difference in our community.

Volunteer Milwaukee, a service of the Nonprofit Center of Milwaukee features both one-time and ongoing volunteer opportunities in our community. Here are a few ways to help.

  • Remove invasive species, establish native plants and trees and maintain trails Monday and Friday afternoons and/or Saturdays. Contact volunteer@riverrevitalizationfoundation.org or 414-271-8000.
  • Provide support and guidance and help a high school student graduate and succeed in both college and the workforce; recruiting now for fall school year. Contact Big Brothers Big Sisters at StartSomething@bbbsmilwaukee.org or 414-831-4563.
  • Engage visitors, share information and answer questions about an exhibit at Milwaukee Public Museum weekdays and/or weekends. Fill out application here or contact stopara@mpm.edu.
  • Read, play music or a game and share stories and memories with hospice a patient and provide caregiver respite in Pewaukee area. Contact Allay Home and Hospice at pczarnik@allayhh.com or 262-317-5233.
  • Receive orders, pack bags and distribute food to families at food pantry; commit to one 2 hour weekday shift a month. Contact United Methodist Children's Services at tara.monnink@umcs-wi.org or 414-344-1818.
  • Help with early morning set up, staff merchandise booth and/or tear down after the Walk Run Wag 5k on Saturday, July 14. Contact Friends of MADACC at friends@madacc.org.
