Do good. Feel great. Volunteer!

Here are a few ways to volunteer and make a difference in our community.

Volunteer Milwaukee, a service of the Nonprofit Center of Milwaukee features both one-time and ongoing volunteer opportunities in our community. Here are a few ways to help.

  • Be a cashier or collect and organize household donations at Milwaukee Habitat For Humanity Restore in Greenfield weekdays or weekends. Apply here to volunteer. Contact nciaccio@milwaukeehabitat.org or 414-316-5619.
  • Assist in sports and activities and ensure the safety of each camper at a sports camp for youth with vision loss July 23-25. Apply here or contact Vision Forward Association at klynch@vision-forward.org or (414) 615-0161.
  • Direct cars into parking spots, help with admissions and assist guests into show grounds and seating area for Milwaukee Air and Water Show July 21 and 22. Contact VISIT Milwaukee by signing up here.
  • Engage visitors, share information and answer questions about an exhibit at Milwaukee Public Museum weekdays and/or weekends. Fill out application here or contact stopara@mpm.edu.
  • Read, play music or a game and share stories and memories with hospice a patient and provide caregiver respite in Pewaukee area. Contact Allay Home and Hospice at pczarnik@allayhh.com or 262-317-5233.
  • Assist our elderly residents fill out their weekly menus; once a week commitment. Contact VMP Manor Park in West Allis at bonnie.zabkowicz@vmp.org or 414-607-4276.
  • Put packets together for classes, courses and orientations and photocopy documents; ongoing need on weekdays at Aurora Health Care Conference Center. Complete an online application or contact michelle.tisljar@aurora.org or 262-329-4615.
  • Groom Milwaukee River frontage walking trails and ponds at Wellspring in West Bend; weekdays, evenings or weekends. Contact wellspring@hnet.net or 262-675-6755.
