Do good. Feel great. Volunteer!

Here are a few ways to volunteer and make a difference in our community.

Volunteer Milwaukee, a service of the Nonprofit Center of Milwaukee features both one-time and ongoing volunteer opportunities in our community. Here are a few ways to help.

  • Welcome guests, sell tickets, hand out programs, staff information and membership table and assist guests in story-telling. Contact Ex Fabula at sam@exfabula.org or (414) 530-3503.
  • Assist in early memory loss class with classroom set-up, paperwork distribution and in-house transportation of class to dining area Wednesdays at Clement Manor. Contact lnowak@clementmanor.com or (414) 321-1800.
  • Answer telephones and schedule appointments Tuesdays or Wednesdays; must have computer experience. Contact Holton Street Clinic at jims@holtonstreetclinic.orgor (414) 264-8800.
  • Bring your pet to bring joy to our patients receiving hospice care in Milwaukee, Waukesha or Ozaukee Counties; pet therapy certification required. Contact Hometown Hospice & Homecare at gclayton@hometownhh.com or (262) 796-0600.
  • Take and edit photos of pets for shelter website, newsletters, event flyers and more; must have skilled photography and animal handling experience. Contact Elmbrook Humane Society at becky@ebhs.org or (262) 782-9261.
  • Hand out welcome packets, assist in craft area, oversee food vendors or mariachi band at Dia de Los Muertos celebration Oct. 26. Contact Friends of the Domes at domesvolunteer@gmail.com or (414) 257-5600.
