Do good. Feel great. Volunteer!

Here are a few ways to volunteer and make a difference in our community.

Volunteer Milwaukee, a service of the Nonprofit Center of Milwaukeefeatures both one-time and ongoing volunteer opportunities in our community. Here are a few ways to help.

  • Pick up, deliver and organize holiday donations for youth dealing with homelessness, crisis or trauma served by Pathfinders Dec. 2-21; weekdays, evenings and/or Sunday mornings. Contact sraines@pathfindersmke.org or (414) 988-6870.
  • Unload and stock food for Friedens Community Ministries food pantries Thursday mornings Dec. 6 and 20. Contact Volunteer@FriedensPantry.org or (414) 289-6030.
  • Collect gift cards from big box stores and deliver them to HOPE Network for Single Mothers in Menomonee Falls by Dec. 15. Contact admin@hopenetworkinc.org or (262) 251-7333.
  • Answer phones, check in visitors and be comfortable interacting with homeless adults experiencing mental illness and addictions weekdays at a homeless shelter. Contact The Cathedral Center at atreptow@cathedral-center.org or (414) 831-0394.
  • Welcome guests, perform light housekeeping and do clerical tasks at Ronald McDonald House Charities, a home for families with children receiving medical treatment. Contact hegerer@rmhcmilwaukee.org or (414) 475-6314.
  • Transport elderly residents in wheelchairs to campus beauty salon appointments Thursday and Friday mornings at Lutheran Home. Contact michelle.mittelsteadt@thelutheranhome.org or (414) 258-6171.
