Update: Parents Of Lost Boy Identified

The Milwaukee County Sheriff's office is asking for the Public's Help in Identifying this Child who was left alone in McGovern Park. ​

MILWAUKEE, WI — A family member contacted the Sheriff’s Office regarding the identity of the boy found at McGovern Park over Labor Day Weekend

According to the Milwaukee County Sheriff's office, the determination will be made to turn over the child to relatives after the Sheriff’s Criminal Investigation Division detectives complete their investigation.

On Sunday night, at about 8:35 p.m., deputies responded to a call about a child found wandering alone in McGovern Park. Deputies turned the boy over to Child Protective Services and the Milwaukee Police Department was notified, but there have been no missing children reports. CPS has not been able to confirm his identity.

The boy looks to be about three years old, and says his name is “Treysiah Bauman.” He was wearing a red, white and gray striped polo shirt, tan shorts and blue shoes.

If you recognize this boy, please call the county dispatch center at 414-278-4788 to notify the Sheriff’s Office.
