UPDATE: Police Identify 19-Year-Old Victim in Fatal Accident on I-94 Near College Ave.
Witnesses reported that a female crossed in front of a semi truck on foot before she was fatally struck.

MILWAUKEE COUNTY -- Milwaukee Sheriff’s detectives identified the woman who ran in front of a semi-tractor truck last week as Natalie M. Lebron, age 19, of Milwaukee.
On November 10, at about 8:20 a.m., deputies were dispatched to a call regarding a pedestrian who had been struck on I-94 northbound near the College Avenue
off-ramp.
According to witnesses, a woman walking along the ramp, crossed the grassy area between the freeway and ramp, looked at an oncoming semi-tractor with trailer and ran in front of it. She was pronounced dead at the scene at 8:42 a.m.

Detectives found text messages on her cell phone indicating Lebron planned to commit suicide.

Thursday morning at about 8:20 a.m., deputies were dispatched to a call regarding a pedestrian who had been struck on I-94 northbound near the College Avenue off-ramp.
According to witnesses, a woman walking along the ramp, crossed the grassy area between the freeway and ramp, looked at an oncoming semi-tractor with trailer and ran in front of it. Oak Creek Fire emergency personnel performed CPR in the right distress lane. The female subject, identity unknown, was pronounced dead at the scene at 8:42 a.m.
The northbound lanes were shut down for approximately 1 ½ hours while medical personal assisted the victim and crash scene measurements were subsequently taken.
