5 Things To Watch

Find out what's happening in Milwaukeefor free with the latest updates from Patch.

1) Aaron Rodgers

He's the most important player on the Packers. Head Coach Matt LaFleur said he's going to play about one quarter of football this week. It's only preseason, but it will b our first look at how Rodgers does under his new head coach.

2) DeShone Kizer and Tim Boyle

Nobody wants to see either backup quarterback by the time the regular season is underway. But since this is the preseason, it's going to be interesting to see which of the two performs better on the road. Last week, Kizer went 8 of 13 for 102 yards and a touchdown. Boyle went 3 of 5 with 40 yards and 2 touchdowns.

3) The Inside Linebackers

Inside linebacker Oren Burks went down with a season-ending injury last week. A crowd of candidates behind veteran Blake Martinez will look to fill the void, including Ty Summers, James Crawford and Curtis Bolton, maybe even safety Raven Greene.

4) J'Mon Moore

The Packers have a stable's worth of young wide receivers lining up behind starter Davante Adams. The knock on Moore is that he drops too many passes and has struggled to distinguish himself in the early going in 2019. Lining up to fill out the roster spots at Wide Receiver include promising candidates: Trevor Davis, Equanimeous St. Brown, Geronimo Allison, Marques Valdes-Scantling, Jake Kumerow among others.

5) Rashan Gary

There's much to be said about the Packers 2019 First-Round pick. In week one, the Texans kept Gary pretty much under control, and had a quiet night overall. That said, he's been turning heads in camp for his combination of power and speed.
