Halloween Snowstorm On Tap For Milwaukee Metro: WI Weather

MILWAUKEE — It won't be a Halloween blizzard, but the Milwaukee metro area is slated to get at least a dusting of snow Tuesday night, and likely more.

"Still expecting the first accumulating snowfall of the season Tuesday morning/afternoon, with the highest snowfall rates during the morning commute," the National Weather Service said.

"Road temperatures remain somewhat uncertain, but bridges and overpasses will likely be the most susceptible."

Monday: Sunny, with a high near 39. West wind around 15 mph.

Monday Night: A 30 percent chance of snow showers after 5am. Partly cloudy, with a low around 27. Southwest wind around 5 mph.

Tuesday: Snow showers likely, mainly between 7am and 4pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 38. Breezy, with a southwest wind 10 to 15 mph becoming northwest 15 to 20 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 30 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New snow accumulation of less than one inch possible.

Tuesday Night: A 30 percent chance of snow showers, mainly before 7pm. Mostly clear, with a low around 24. Blustery, with a north wind 15 to 20 mph decreasing to 10 to 15 mph after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 30 mph.

Wednesday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 42. Southwest wind 5 to 15 mph.

Wednesday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 31. Southwest wind 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph.
