Hazardous Weather Outlook Issued For Tuesday Morning

MILWAUKEE, WI — The National Weather Service has issued a severe weather outlook, as thunderstorms pass over our area between late Monday evening into Tuesday morning.

A few storms could approach severe limits, with strong winds the main threat, the NWS says.

Thunderstorms are likely into mid-morning with the lingering strong to severe threat. There will be less of a chance for storms later in the day.

There will be a moderate swim risk at Lake Michigan beaches on Tuesday.

Showers and thunderstorms likely, mainly before noon. Cloudy through mid morning, then gradual clearing, with a high near 82. Breezy, with a south wind 15 to 20 miles per hour with gusts as high as 35 miles per hour.

Chance of precipitation is 60 percent. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
