Huge Fireball Streaks Across Midwest Sky: Watch
Residents of Wisconsin, Illinois, Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, Iowa, New York, Kentucky, Minnesota and Ontario, Canada, also reported a meteor.

Did you see it? Several Midwest states, including Wisconsin, reported seeing a possible meteor light up the night sky around 1:27 a.m. Monday, Feb. 6. The American Meteor Society, which monitors meteors, says it has received more than 220 reports of the fireball.
Reports of the large blue-green fireball also came from Illinois, Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, Iowa, New York, Kentucky, Minnesota and Ontario, Canada, the AMS said.
There was no damage, and the fireball quickly burned out, the AMS said.

In Madison, a camera at the University of Wisconsin’s Atmospheric, Oceanic and Space Sciences building got footage of the event.
