The Independent Business Association of Wisconsin (IBAW) hosts Chad Schultz, CEO of Innovative Signs, presenting “When Disaster Strikes.” The meeting will be held on August 20, 2021, 7:00 a.m. – 9:00 a.m. The event will be held at the Wisconsin Club, 900 W Wisconsin Avenue, Milwaukee, Wis. A plated breakfast will be served.

This month IBAW Director Steve Kohlmann will go one-on-one with Chad Schultz, whose business had a catastrophic fire earlier this year. Despite that, Innovative Signs is rebounding, in a new building, and back up and running.

Steve Kohlmann, Executive Director of IBAW, said, “It’s an early Saturday afternoon and you get a call from the fire department – your business is fully engulfed in flames. You race to the scene to find the area filled with smoke, flames, and chaos. What do you do? How do you rebuild? Where do you even start? Chad’s story is one of business tragedy, picking up the pieces, hard work, perseverance, and lessons learned.”

IBAW is a venue for high-level CEOs, CFOs, COOs, other upper management, and entrepreneurs to network, exchange business ideas, and become educated and involved on issues that impact their business. IBAW is time well spent!
