Labor Day 2017 Closings: Milwaukee
What Milwaukee services are open and which will be closed on Labor Day 2017?

City of Milwaukee government offices will be closed on Monday, September 4, 2017 for the Labor Day
holiday. However, some Department of Public Works (DPW) services will be available for limited hours
of operation over the holiday weekend, and certain parking restrictions will be lifted.
Municipal Court
The Milwaukee Municipal Court is closed on Labor Day. Normal hours resume Tuesday.

Milwaukee Public Library System
All libraries closed Saturday, Sept. 2 through Monday, Sept. 4

- There will be no garbage and recycling pick-up on Monday, September 4
- Self-Help Centers will be open on Saturday, September 2 and Sunday, September 3 Closed on Labor Day - Monday, September 4
- No parking meter enforcement on Monday, September 4
- No overnight parking enforcement Saturday night into Sunday morning (September 3 from 2:00 to 6:00 a.m.), Sunday night into Monday morning (September 4 from 2:00 to 6:00 a.m.), and Monday night into Tuesday morning (September 5 from 2:00 to 6:00 a.m.)
- Overnight parking enforcement resumes on Tuesday night into Wednesday morning (September 6 from 2:00 to 6:00 a.m.)

OPEN: Saturday, September 2 from 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Sunday, September 3 from 7:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon
CLOSED: Monday, September 4

The Milwaukee Water Works Customer Service Center will be closed Monday, September 4.
Customers can pay their Municipal Services Bill online at milwaukee.gov/water.
