Police responded to the area moments after the call, at about 5 a.m. only to see Baker standing outside his apartment while holding a black Colt AR-15 rifle.

Police said they ordered Baker to put down the AR-15, however, he refused to put down the weapon and then told police that he had the right to possess guns and that he was running for Governor. Police said Baker also stated that he was going to start a militia.

According to police, Baker admitted that he fired gunshots while broadcasting the incident on Twitter.

While police were talking with Baker, other officers managed to approach him from the side and took him to the ground in a physical struggle. After a brief struggle, Baker was arrested, police say.

According to a search warrant filed by Milwaukee police, Baker said online that he was "going to the poll and air it out." Police also said that Baker typed, "I do know what it takes to kill a body from that far away," on a social media account as well.

During their search, police say they recovered 31 bullet casings on the roof of his apartment. Police also say that Baker was carrying a Glock 19 9 mm pistol, a Beretta 9 mm pistol and a Beretta .380 in his waistband.

According to Baker's criminal complaint, police also searched Baker's apartment. They reportedly found 232 grams of marijuana, 14 LSD stamps in his refrigerator, 73 glass jars containing psilocybin mushrooms, and empty gun cases.
