Man Shot In Milwaukee Following Argument: Police

According to the Milwaukee Police Department, officers are still looking for a suspect. The victim is expected to survive.

MILWAUKEE, WI — The Milwaukee Police Department is investigating a shooting that took place Tuesday around 6:20 p.m.

Police said the shooting happened along the 3300 block of W. Vliet Street.

The victim, a 28-year-old man from Milwaukee, was treated by medical first responders for a non-life threatening gunshot wound, police said.

Officers said they believe the victim was engaged in an argument with a known acquaintance when he was shot.

There are no suspects in custody at this time.
