Marquette University Employee Hit By Car Near Campus
The driver of the car stayed on the scene after the accident. The victim is in stable condition.

MILWAUKEE, WI — A Marquette University employee was hit by a car Monday while crossing the street, in a crosswalk, at the intersection of 15th and Wells, police say.
An ambulance took the woman to Froedtert Hospital, where it is reported that she is in stable condition. WISN reported that the driver, who remained at the scene after hitting the woman with the vehicle, ended up on the median.
Marquette University police ticketed the driver for failure to yield to a pedestrian. WISN reported that the driver was heading eastbound on Wells.
