Medieval Times To Host Beach Cleanup, Free Tickets Offered

MILWAUKEE, WI — Medieval Times, a dinner theater venue set in replica 11th-century European castles with a venue in Schaumberg, Illinois, is hosting a beach cleanup at Veterans Park in August where participants can earn free tickets to an evening show.

On Monday, Aug. 5, Medieval Times will host a Bradford Beach clean-up event to help maintain the beauty of Veterans Park on the shoreline of Lake Michigan. The event will run from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The first 100 volunteers to register for and attend the beach clean-up event will each receive a complimentary ticket redeemable for Medieval Times shows between Aug. 8 and Sept. 30, 2019.

Organizers say performers will be there to reward community volunteers with sword fighting demonstrations and additional giveaways.

Veterans Park is located at 1010 N Lincoln Memorial Drive in Milwaukee All ages are welcome, and training and supplies will be provided at the event. Additionally, closed-toe shoes are required.
