Midwest Orthopedic Sports Complex Gives Back to the Community

Midwest Orthopedic Sports Complex has always given back to the community over the years & their recent hosting of The Indoor Disc Golf Experience of 2018 on the weekend of January 19th was a wild success.

Dan Peplinski, Director of Community Development & Marketing of Midwest Orthopedic Sports Complex said, “I have been here for over 14 years & we always look forward to giving back to the community, because without the community, we wouldn’t be here.”

The facility is an 80,000 square foot, state of the art indoor & outdoor facility that is open year round. The Sports Complex is also the year round practice field to your 6-time MISL Champions, the Milwaukee Wave.

For the Indoor Disc Golf Experience of 2018 event, over 300 hundred people showed up to donate thousands of dollars to our veterans & Throw Blue. Throw Blue helps educate the public about autism through Disc Golf events.

According to Dan Peplinski, “ a project such as www.throw-blue.com is the next logical step for us giving back to the community. Autism is something that may or may not have affected you at some point in your life, & chances are you have met or know someone with autism. This was our opportunity to help us spread awareness, understanding & educate people about autism."

For the Indoor Disc Golf Experience of 2018, they were excited to host two time world Indoor Disc Golf champion, Richard ″Ricky″ Wysocki. He turned pro in 2010 & has career earnings is in the hundreds of thousands of dollars. On Friday, he hosted a putting clinic & there was a raffle for a Ricky Wysocki Delta Cart, with a portion of the proceeds going towards Minor Park in Mukwonago.

In addition to offering year round activities & rentals for the whole family, they offer Indoor & Outdoor Soccer Leagues, Futbolito Youth Programs & Youth & Adult Flag Football Leagues.

The 80,000 square foot Midwest Orthopedic Sports Complex is the Midwest’s premier facility for players & fans. The complex boasts three fields that are 185 feet long & 85 feet wide. Each field is equipped with a state of the art playing surface.

The glass surrounding each field is more than 60% glass, allowing for excellent sight lines. Players & fans appreciate the increased natural light & brighter overall feel inside the facility.
