Milwaukee 2022 Spring Primary: Where To Vote, How To Register
Polls close at 8 p.m. for the 2022 spring primary in Milwaukee.

MILWAUKEE, WI — Polls across Milwaukee have opened and residents will be able to vote for the next mayor Tuesday.
There are seven candidates running to become mayor of Milwaukee: alderwoman Marina Dimitrijevic, former alderman Bob Donovan, activist Ieshuh Griffin, acting mayor and Common Council President Cavalier Johnson, Milwaukee County Sheriff Earnell Lucas, state senator Lena Taylor and businessman Michael Sampson.
Polls close at 8 p.m. and Patch will keep watch of the results. Residents who weren't able to register to vote online or by mail can register in person at their local polling place.

Former Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett stepped out of office after nearly two decades of service after he was nominated the next U.S. Ambassador to Luxembourg. Since then, Johnson has served as acting mayor until the spring primary election.
