Brewers Force NLCS Game 7 vs Dodgers: 2018 World Series At Stake
The Milwaukee Brewers and Los Angeles Dodgers are tied 3-3 in the NLCS. Game 7 is Saturday night. Game details here:

MILWAUKEE, WI — At just after 7 p.m. Milwaukee time, the Brewers and Dodgers will begin Game Seven of the National League Championship Series with a 2018 World Series berth on the line.
The Brewers send their best starting pitcher Jhoulys Chacin to the mound, and the Dodgers counter with Walker Buehler. The matchup is a repeat of Game Three, in which the Brewers won 4-0.
A win by either team would represent a chance to end generational droughts for either team.

For Milwaukee, their last World Series appearance came in 1982 when skipper Harvey Kuenn led the team to within one game of the MLB crown, losing in the seventh game to the St. Louis Cardinals. They haven't been back since. In 1982, the Brewers stormed their way to their only World Series appearance. Paul Molitor, Milwaukee's leadoff hitter set a new World Series record with five hits. Robin Yount was the first player in history to have two four-hit games in the fall classic.
The Dodgers appeared in the 2017 World Series, losing to the Houston Astros in seven games. The last MLB championship for the Dodgers came in 1988 when they defeated the Oakland Athletics four games to one. In that series, Orel Hershiser started two games, winning both. The series will arguably be most known for Kirk Gibson's epic World Series home run. It's regarded as one of the greatest home runs of all time.

How We Got Here:
Milwaukee:
The Brewers rode a late-season winning streak to tie the Chicago Cubs at the top of the NL Central Division. The Brewers continued their hot play to defeat the Cubs in a one-game tiebreaker in an extra regular-season game to win the division. The Brewers opened the 2018 playoffs by routing the Colorado Rockies in the NLDS in order to advance to play the Dodgers.
Los Angeles:
The Dodgers similarly rode a late-season hot streak, and played the Rockies also in an extra regular-season tiebreaker game to win the National League West division. It's the first time in MLB history that four teams played tiebreaker games to decide their respective divisional championships. The Dodgers defeated the Atlanta Braves three games to one in the NLDS in order to advance to face the Brewers.
