Milwaukee Brewers To Call Up Top Prospect Keston Hiura
According to reports, the team's top prospect is on his way to the majors to replace a struggling player who may land on injured list.

MILWAUKEE, WI — The Milwaukee Brewers are said to be calling up a key piece of their future, after it was reported that the team is bringing second baseman and top prospect Keston Hiurato the majors.
Hiura was a first-round pick in the 2017 Major League Baseball draft. The 5-foot-11, 22-year-old player rose quickly through the minor leagues.
In 37 games with the Brewers' AAA Minor League affiliate, the San Antonio Missions, Hiura hit .333 with a .408 on-base percentage. He hit 11 home runs in 147 at-bats.

In a corresponding move, first reported by the Athletic, the Brewers are considering placing third baseman Travis Shaw on the injured list with an apparent wrist injury.
The timing of Shaw's injury might be to the third baseman's advantage in terms of time off. Shaw has been mired in a season-long slump at the plate. Shaw's futility is reflected in his .163 batting average - lowest among qualifying hitters in the National League. He had struck out 50 times in 135 at-bats according to a JSOnline report.
