Milwaukee: Officers Attacked, Wife Shoots Husband, Gunfight and Man Killed
A violent Friday in Milwaukee resulted in multiple shooting incidents, several hurt and a man who died from gunshot wounds.

MILWAUKEE, WI -- One person is dead and several more were injured after multiple shooting incidents in Milwaukee Friday - including a gunfight that erupted before police arrived on the scene and a wife who shot her husband.
Two Shot, Officers Attacked
According to a report this morning from Fox 6 News,an officer on patrol in the neighborhood of 42nd and Burleigh observed a gunfight just after 2 a.m. in the area.

More officers responded to the scene. Two men, ages 27 and 24, were arrested. They both sustained injuries in the gunfight, and are expected to survive.
According to police, two men were arrested for battery to a police officer at the scene.

Shooting Victim Dies
A man of unspecified age died at the scene of a shooting Friday just after 10 p.m. near Sixth and Chambers. Fox 6 has learned thatofficers found the victim lying on the corner. Lifesaving measures were not able to save the man.
Wife Shoots Husband, Drives him to Hospital
A 49-year-old man is expected to survive a gunshot wound after his spouse reportedly shot him during an unspecified incident. Fox 6 is reporting that the incident took place near the intersection of Auer and Achilles just after 3 a.m. Saturday. The wife then transported her husband to the hospital before she was arrested.
