Milwaukee Police are investigating a reckless endangering safety / mistreatment of animal incident that occurred on Monday, June 1, 2020, at approximately 11:30 p.m., on the 3000 of N. Bartlett Avenue. The victim was walking when a reckless vehicle almost struck him. The victim was involved in an argument with a suspect at which time the suspect fired shots at the victim. The victim was not injured but his dog, a 14-year-old German Shepard was struck. The dog had to be euthanized due to his injuries. Milwaukee Police continues to seek unknown suspects.
